Sound Improvements in the LiNX Quattro Family
The LiNX Quattro features new chips and improved audio processing to deliver a smoother listening experience, capturing the full range of ambient sounds thanks to Binaural Directionality III technology, which helps with better speech understanding in very noisy environments and better perception of sounds from the sides, behind and in front.
The algorithms responsible for environment classification have also been improved, letting the hearing aid optimise the system and improve spatial sound localisation.
These hearing aids also include technology for treating tinnitus in patients.

Resound Hearing Aid Colours
The LiNX Quattro comes in a wide range of colours, with a total of 14 options, the boldest being red and blue.
The Resound Hearing Aid Charger Fits in Your Pocket
One of the big new features of this launch is the new portable charging system. The charging case is so small you can carry it in your pocket, and it also delivers a total of 3 full charges without needing to plug it into the mains — giving you 4 days of use without needing an electrical connection, which makes it very handy for travel.
Hearing Aids With New Connectivity Options
The First Hearing Aid Made for Both Android and iPhone
The big new feature of the Resound LiNX Quattro is its connectivity, which allows it to connect directly to both Android and iPhone.
Until now, most hearing aids could connect directly to iPhone via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), but because of the huge number of Android phone manufacturers, the same wasn’t possible with Android.
With GN and Google’s joint development of the new ASHA protocol, which allows hearing aids to connect to Android phones via BLE, that’s changed, and upcoming versions of Android will include native hearing aid support built into the operating system.
The main advantage of using these BLE protocols is more efficient battery use, along with improved audio quality.
This protocol also lets users hear calls without needing an intermediate device, such as the Unite Phone Clip, and it also lets you use your hearing aids like headphones to play multimedia content.
The First CIC With Wireless Connectivity on the Market
Android connectivity isn’t the only new feature of these hearing aids — for the first time, this connectivity is also available in CIC devices, hearing aids that sit completely inside the ear canal, meaning even at this reduced size, they can still connect directly to electronic devices, both iPhone and Android.
Resound LiNX Quattro Reviews
We have two independent studies backing up the positive opinion patients have of the LiNX Quattro. The first is a study by consultant Jennifer Schumacher, which, based on a blind study, found it to be the best hearing aid for speech understanding.
The second study, carried out by Aranda del Toro, ranks Resound hearing aids, according to respondents’ opinions, as the best option among five other high-end hearing aids for listening to directly streamed sound, showing better tonal balance and better sound detail and dynamics than the other hearing aids.
